The limits of the rate, duration and technical information published on this site, stated plainly rather than buried.
Rates are planning ranges, not quotations
Every figure on this site is a planning range in US dollars, excluding engineering, permitting, materials, crane and specialist equipment hire, travel outside the base market and any applicable tax. Each carries the date the figures were last reviewed.
They are published so that a construction manager can build a realistic budget before telephoning. They are not an offer, not a quotation, and not a guarantee of availability. The figure that binds either of us is in a written proposal for a defined scope of work.
Ranges move with market conditions, crew availability, fuel and the cost of equipment hire. They are re-checked periodically rather than continuously.
Durations are planning figures
Every duration on this site assumes normal access, normal site conditions and workable weather. Real projects meet locked gates, undisclosed conditions, outage windows that move, permits that take longer than anyone expected, and named storms.
A schedule for your project comes from a proposal against your scope, and even then it is a plan rather than a promise. Anyone in this trade who offers you a guaranteed date without seeing the site is selling you optimism.
No safety, credential or performance claims
This site publishes no safety statistic, no experience modification rate, no incident rate, no licence number, no insurance limit, no certification registry number, no carrier or client name, no crew headcount, no count of sites completed and no years-in-business figure.
That is deliberate. A number printed on a marketing page is not evidence, because the reader cannot verify it. Certificates of insurance, the current safety programme, climber certification records and references are sent on request — to a named person who can check them — rather than published to an audience who cannot.
Standards and regulations described here
Descriptions on this site of fall-protection requirements, structural standards for antenna towers, inspection intervals, obstruction lighting obligations and stop-work thresholds are general information written to help you scope work.
They are not a substitute for the current text of the governing standards and regulations, which change, nor for your own engineer, nor for your own compliance obligations as a structure owner. Where they disagree with the governing document, the governing document is correct.
The drawings
The elevation on the homepage is a worked illustration of a marking and lighting scheme. It is not a drawing of a particular structure, not to scale for any real site, and not a specification. It exists to explain how the scopes of work relate to each other by height.
Emergency and storm response
Nothing on this site is a guaranteed response time. After a named storm, road access, fuel, power, crew safety and the sheer number of simultaneously damaged sites govern what is possible, and no honest contractor can promise a fixed arrival window in advance of knowing any of that.
A guaranteed service level is a thing to put in a contract with a named response time and a named remedy. It is not a thing to put on a web page.
