Steel, shelter and power, from one office

Atlantic Tower Services, Inc. is a full-service maintenance, repair and installation contractor working across telecommunications, HVAC and power generation, classified under NAICS 2371, Utility System Construction.

We build, modify, inspect and maintain vertical infrastructure, and we service the systems at its base that decide whether the site stays on air. Work is performed across more than 24 states, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, coordinated from Sanford, Florida. The business is run by Damian Quattlebaum.

The difference, stated plainly

Most tower crews climb. Most mechanical contractors service the shelter. Very few do both, and almost nobody does both plus the generator.

That gap is familiar to anyone who runs sites. An outage takes three telephone calls to diagnose, because the structural crew says the steel is fine, the HVAC contractor says the unit is running, and the generator vendor says it started on test last month. Each of them is right about their own scope. Nobody owns the site.

Working all three is the company's actual position, and it is worth more than any adjective. When a site is down, one crew can look at the steel, the shelter and the power on the same visit, and one organisation answers for the result. On a planned visit it is simply cheaper: a crew already mobilised for a lighting inspection can exercise the generator and service the HVAC in the same trip, and on a remote site mobilisation is most of the cost.

How the work is run

As projects, with budgets, deadlines and reporting, rather than as dispatched trucks. That is the practical consequence of covering a lot of ground from one coordination point: one set of standards, one reporting format, and one group of people who know the whole picture on your programme.

Where being in Florida matters

This is a hurricane state, and that is a material fact about the contractor rather than a line on a letterhead. Structures here are designed for wind speeds most of the country never sees and spend every summer in salt air and afternoon lightning.

In practice: loading gets reviewed rather than assumed, generators get load-banked rather than trusted, corrosion is an inspection item rather than an afterthought, and post-event assessment is a real scope with its own sequence rather than an improvisation. It also means our crews stand down for weather that crews elsewhere work through.

Claims this page refuses to make

There is no safety statistic on this site. No experience modification rate, no incident rate, no licence number, no insurance limit, no certification registry number, no carrier or client name, no logo wall, no crew headcount, no count of sites completed and no years-in-business figure.

Not because they do not exist. A contractor working for carriers has all of them. But a number printed on a marketing page is not evidence, because you cannot verify it, and the industry is full of pages that print them anyway.

What is here instead is checkable: a legal name you can look up, an address in Sanford with a suite number, a telephone number answered during working hours, a published rate structure with a review date, a named document for every scope, and a stated set of conditions under which we stop work. Those are specific enough to hold us to.
